We had a great mix of activities going on in and around the garden here at North Edinburgh Arts.
Activities included nature based rap and music, a wiggling worm workshop, play, picnic and pond dipping at the Forth Quarter Park, rabbit-fit, pot upcycling and an Eco-easter egg workshop.
We had 47 individuals attending 5 events over 2 weeks – what a great turnout!

As part of our funding from Scottish Natural Heritage, we’ve been running more activities encouraging people to get out enjoying their local wild places. In February and March, we ran two successful Beach Days in partnership with Zoo Arts Extra, another North Edinburgh Arts project.
Both trips had great attendence. We headed from NEA down to the beach at West Shore Rd, for an afternoon of sea, sand, fire, food and art.
And here’s some pics from the days.
Zoo Arts will be back running Beach Days in autumn – the idea is to encourage people to the beach in the colder months when they wouldn’t normally go themselves.
