Garden landscaping gathering pace!

The garden project is gathering pace with lots of new things going in over the last few weeks.

Our new greenhouse, courtesy of Vision Mechanic’s Greenhouse project, went in last week. Natalie will be doing some creative growing here over the summer and Valla and garden volunteers will be bringing on seedlings to be put out into plots and beds – first lot of lettuce getting sown this week!

And our drystone dyker Richard put the finishing touches onto the walls built during our workshops, including getting the insect boxes into position. Delightful.

And finally, we had some tree planting going on from Create, our under 5s creative group, with St David’s Primary School P5, who are using the garden for their John Muir Award, and with MYDG.

The first tree in!
