Over winter 2013-14, the garden is being landscaped, with the major elements of the garden being in place by the start of spring. A landscape gardener has been contracted to do much of the work, but there are opportunities for people to get involved at this stage too.
We’re currently looking for volunteers who are interested in the following activities:
- Planting of trees, hedging and other plants
- Drystane dyking
- Landscaping
- Building raised beds
- Growing fruit and veg for the North Edinburgh Arts café
- Wall painting
- Creating a composting area
- Learning about about gardening!
We’re planning on having work days on Wednesdays and Thursdays but if these aren’t suitable for you, please get in touch anyway as we are flexible!
